We strongly encourage all players to house their characters on this page.

All locations have limited space. More housing options may be added in the future.

You can change housing at any time or update your current housing.

Only students are allowed to stay in dorms. Each room can hold up to two characters, but it is not required to have a roommate.

Characters can have an entire room to themselves. Students can decorate their room however they want including painting the walls or adding fixtures.

You can request a randomized roommate and/or randomized housing location.

Similarly, you can request specific roommates but ensure clear permission from other players involved.

Every floor in the dormitories has a public bath and laundry room.

All dormitories are co-ed.

Only professors are allowed to stay in townhomes or houses except for professors who allow students to live with them.

Characters will feel compelled to live in the provided accommodations. We do not currently allow characters to build homes or live off the land.

Characters will feel too anxious to even try living in the open.

Ellsberg Hall

About.

Ellsberg is known as a scholar's dream dormitory due to its culture of silence and respect. Most of its residents are students who don't want to worry about noise or chaos and thus Ellsberg is the quietest of the dorms. Beyond that, there is a unique quality in the construction that dampens sound. For example, dropping a stack of books will sound muffled.

This dorm is also known for its abundance of beautiful marble statues scattered around and inside the building. The overall decor throughout the dorm is dark and broody, filled with exposed brick and dark wood floors.

There are three floors and the number of rooms available is as follows:

The 1st Floor: 1-25
The 2nd Floor: 26-50
The 3rd Floor: 51-75

Abilene Hall

About.

Abilene Hall is a favorite for students who want a more engaging experience. Being a hot spot for art students and aspiring musicians, you can anticipate hearing plenty of music at random intervals. The open foyer on the first floor has a grand piano students are welcome to practice on. The building is covered in dense moss and vines. Inside the floors vary between stone and hardwood.

Strangely, butterflies of every species are constantly fluttering about in the dorms. Stranger yet is how one cannot find the cocoons or any dead butterflies. You wouldn't even be able to figure out where they are coming from.

There are three floors and the number of rooms available is as follows:

The 2nd Floor: 51-100
The 3rd Floor: 101-150

Monty Hall

About.

Monty Hall is mostly dedicated to the science center with its wide-open windows and drafty halls to allow for proper ventilation. Stone floors and walls provide a safe space for students to experiment in without concern of causing fires or other damage. For the most part.

Although clocks are in every room and every hall, it becomes unusually difficult for anyone to keep track of time in Monty Hall. Some believe the clocks are always wrong, but it is impossible to prove.

There are three floors and the number of rooms available is as follows:

The 2nd Floor: 41-80
The 3rd Floor: 81-120

Carroll Hall

About.

Carroll Hall is the most striking of the dorms, both internally and externally. Red roses grow in thick, sharply thorned bunches over the grounds and up along the building. The air is tinged with the scent of roses. Inside, the floors look like shattered glass but smooth and slick to walk on.

It is believed that Carroll Hall is haunted. The shadowy form of a woman with glowing white eyes can be seen peering out of random windows or atop the roof. Some even claim to hear her crying. One with ghost abilities would not be able to feel any ghostly presence.

There are four floors and the number of rooms available is as follows:

Skolem Townhomes

About.

The Skolem townhouses are beautifully crafted with fine details from the inside out. There are 30 units in total, each with three floors and a small backyard patio. These are popular among professors due to their proximity to campus. Although these townhouses are nestled together, you will never hear your neighbors.

There is an unusual phenomenon that occurs within each unit: the lamps. Residents have remarked on seeing a random lamp that they didn't remember owning in the unit. Sometimes, the lamp will distort or vanish and reappear in another room. You can try to destroy it, but it will just appear later. Looking at it for too long may give you a squirmish feeling.

Here

Fitch End

About.

Fitch End is a gated community about five miles from the campus. It is considered the closest thing to the "outside" world that seemed to survive Penumbra. The neighborhood is filled with Victorian and Gothic homes ripe for the taking. Fitch End is more vulnerable to the effects of Penumbra each month.

Those who seek more privacy or even isolation from others might find solace in Fitch End if they can handle the potential risks. One can have a more customized living experience in Fitch End with various home sizes available. This may be a good option for group living.

There are 50 houses. The rest of the community seems to have been destroyed by Penumbra and is currently inaccessible though it is obvious more once existed.
